ORDERING ON THE ROOM DECOR
By placing an order for Products on the Website, you expressly accept these Terms and Conditions. Some Products may be pictured with a different finish and/or color compared to the actual finish and / or color available. Please check product descriptions and images carefully and inquire if you need any clarifications. Most of our products featured on our website are made-to-order and handcrafted specifically for you. The production and manufacturing time will be stated on the product page. Once your purchase is complete, we will send an email confirming the receipt of your order. In the Account section of the website, you will find a summary of your order history.
All orders are paid in full at the moment of the online purchase. In-stock items normally ship within 5-7 business days after an order has been placed. Once an item has shipped, cancellation is not possible. Furniture, Custom, and Special Order items cannot be canceled. All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or accept exchanges. We do not accept requests for the cancellation of orders made online or pursuant to written purchase orders unless we confirm that the item purchased is defective as set forth herein. In no event, even if an item is defective, shall we accept returns of any used or installed product (unless installation was required to confirm defectiveness).
PAYMENTS
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal. Pricing is in US Dollars. Customers shall pay the complete purchase price plus any applicable taxes, shipping, and handling fees in full at the time of submission of the Order Form. Delivery and shipping of the Products will not be made until Vendor has received payment in full of the purchase price and all applicable charges. Sales prices are expressed in USD; taxes and shipping charges are not included. All applicable sales taxes and shipping charges will be visible during check-out. Taxes are calculated based on various factors, including, without limitation, the type of Product purchased, the price of the Product, and the destination of the shipment. Please note that the sales prices may change at any time without notice, and it is your responsibility to check the final price before submitting the order. In the event that any items listed on the Website are incorrectly priced, the Company reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for Products listed at the incorrect price, regardless of whether the Customer has received an Order Confirmation or paid for the order. If the order is canceled by the Company after payment has already been made, the Company will refund the amount of the incorrectly priced item to the Customer in due course. SHIPPING INFORMATION
Orders are shipped from Italy and/or countries in Europe, directly from the Vendor and/or artisan’s workshop. They are safely and securely delivered to you with the best shipping carriers. All shipments are insured for the whole value of the product. When the product you order is particularly large or delicate, it will be shipped with a dedicated courier to ensure extra safety.
STANDARD PARCEL
Parcel shipping refers to lighter and smaller box items. This shipment is entrusted to a parcel delivery service such as UPS, FedEx, or DHL. Once the package is collected by the courier, you will receive the tracking link to monitor the status of your shipment.
DEDICATED SHIPPING
Dedicated shipping is a shipping method typically used for international shipments of significantly fragile and/or large pieces. Before transit, a custom wooden crate is built around the item to protect it and allow for safe passage. Once the crating process is complete, the crate will be transferred to a transit company and shipped via air freight or ocean freight. Unlike the standard service, the tracking link to monitor the shipment is available.
All furniture orders placed online ship with White Glove Delivery. We currently ship orders placed online to addresses within the United States excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico; some limitations may apply. We cannot ship to hotels, P.O. boxes, or APO (Army Post Office), FPO (Fleet Post Office), or DPO (Diplomatic Post Office) destinations. We do not currently ship online orders to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.
SHIPPING DELAYS
Delivery estimates are good faith estimates only. The Room Decor will not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, or expenses related to any delay in shipment or delivery. All shipping dates are approximate. The Room Decor is not responsible for delays caused by weather or other delivery service interruptions experienced by the carrier. Vendor shall not incur any obligation or liability to you for failure to deliver by any particular date.
AVAILABILITY OF GOODS
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If there is a problem with your order, contact us at 1.301.554.8849 within three (3) days of receipt. You may also email us at info@theroomdecor.com. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, we will work with you to make things right.
SHIPPING RATES FOR FURNITURE
For in-stock furniture, estimated delivery time within the continental United States is 10-14 business days. All other furniture is made to order and requires a four-six week minimum lead time. See each item’s product detail page for individual product lead time and shipping service. THE ROOM DECOR furniture line and select home décor products are delivered via our partnered white glove service providers to ensure the best delivery possible. Furniture White Glove Delivery includes inside delivery and the removal of all packaging materials. White Glove delivered items require 3-10 days of handling time prior to transit time.
PREPARING FOR FURNITURE DELIVERY
It is your responsibility to ensure that all furniture items will fit through any access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
SCHEDULING YOUR DELIVERY
Once you are notified that items are ready for delivery, we ask that you take receipt of them within 7 days. At the time of scheduling, please notify The Room Decor by emailing info@theroomdecor.com of any special requirements necessary to ensure a successful delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, the need for small trucks to navigate narrow roads and driveways, restricted delivery time frames due to local ordinances, gated entry access, proof of insurance for high rise and condominium buildings, multiple flights of stairs, and service elevator reservations.
CANCELLATION & RETURN POLICY
SPECIAL ORDERS – No returns, all sales final. No refunds.
– Items marked as SPECIAL ORDER cannot be canceled.
– Items marked as SPECIAL ORDER are final sale and non-returnable.
– Custom or personalized items are not returnable unless received damaged or defective.
– If an item arrives damaged or defective, let us know within 24 hours of delivery, and we will make arrangements for a replacement or refund if necessary.
Once an item has shipped, cancellation is not possible.
**Vendor may accept returns of any eligible Product if made within 3 days of the date of delivery.**
Returns must be in the same condition in which you received them. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right of action against you for damages. The Customer will bear the entire cost associated with the return. All returned products must be in original and factory sealed packaging, in the condition in which they were shipped or otherwise delivered to the Customer by Vendor. Any products returned to the Vendor in unsaleable condition are not eligible for a refund and may be rejected by Vendor in its sole discretion. All products marked “SPECIAL ORDER,” “sale,” or “as is” are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
To return a Product, you must notify Customer Service in writing and provide the information listed below, within 3 calendar days, from the date of delivery. Please email info@theroomdecor.com
Customer shall provide to Vendor all relevant tracking information of the product being returned to Customer Care. Products must be returned in their entirety; partial returns will not be accepted.
